All things in perspective

With Mother's Day so close, everyone is talking about moms. Of course they are. It's a day just for them.

What about those people who don't have moms, or good moms? What if ones mom was horrible and they live as far away from them as possible? What do you celebrate?

Celebrate the type of mother that you want to have, want to be, or could have been. Or it could be the type you have/are/were. Mother's Day is a day to be thankful that we are here. We are alive. Someone chose not to abort you. You survived this long. There is always someone worse off than you. It's true. Thank you.

No one is going to be perfect. We don't have to be miserable, either. Strive for the best. Be the Proverbs 31 lady as much as you can. It's a high standard. We were made to achieve so much more than we're giving now.
